Adult Tennis League
Join our Mixed Adult Tennis League.
Please register in advance. You can join both leagues, please make sure you will register as a team for the doubles league..
Entry Fee
The entry fee is a one off payment for the whole league which contributes to the tennis balls. You can join both leagues.
- An entry fee of £5 is payable by Members per league entry
- An entry fee of £10 is payable by non-members per league entry
League Rules
- The league is open to club members and non-members
- It is an Adult league, all players must be 16 or over; exception could be made – contact Janko.
- You will enter the league after you register and pay the league fee
- You can enter one or more leagues. There is a entry fee for each league you enter
- For doubles you enter as a doubles pair
- This is mixed gender league; the pairs could be male, female or mixed.
- The League runs from 1st of March 2017 until 31st of October 2017.
- The teams will be split into groups
- You will play each other within the group
- Every 3 months the league will be balanced; the group winners will move one league up and group bottom players will move league down.
- The matches will be scheduled and organised by the players/doubles teams
- Results will be submited to Janko after each match
The match format:
- Matches will be played best of 3 sets. Each set will be first to 4 games. If agreed between both players/teams you can play best of 3 full sets first to 6 games. Deciding set will still remain 10 points tie-break
- If the score in the set is 3 games all (6 games all), deciding game will be 7 points tie-break
- If the score is one set all, deciding set is played as super tie-break. ( Tie-break first to 10 points)
